Obituary of Douglas Parsons

Unexpectedly called to heaven on Saturday, August 24, 2013, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 76. Survived by his wife of 43 years, Anne (nee Harris); his children, Carol Schmidt and husband Dave, Catherine Warren and husband Steve, and Jim Parsons. Papa to Drew and Ryan Schmidt and Tom and Kiera Warren and proud Papa P. of Vada. Brother of Ray Parsons and Mabel Mercer and her husband Doug. Predeceased by his parents, Harold and Susie Parsons. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Doug with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, August 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 49 Queen St. N., Kitchener on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 11 a.m., followed by cremation. Everyone is invited to remain at the church for a time of fellowship and refreshments with the family.
