We are saddened by the death of our cousin and niece, Jeanne, so soon! Our thoughts and prayers are with Deb and Jane, a wonderful sister and supportive friend. Another sad loss for our family here but perhaps a happy reunion with all of our other dearly departed.

Jeanne was my preceptor when I started at Mac. I am the nurse I am today because of her. So glad she touched my life so sorry she left us so soon. My thoughts and prayers go to Jeanne's family.

You were a colleague, mentor and an exceptional example of a dedicated,caring nurse. You taught us all so much in our many years working side by side in the NICU.We shared many laughs and some tears over the years and I was so proud to call you a friend.Our "Blue Hair" trips were a joy and many meomories of those times will last a lifetime. Our hearts are saddened by your loss. Jeanne was our son, Kayne's primary Nurse during his long NICU journey at McMaster. We cherish the many fond memories of our time with her and the extra care she gave to Kayne... With him she was strong and stern yet loving and kind. It is with great sadness that I light this candle in memory of Jeanne. She touched so many of us nurses in the NICU with her nursing knowledge, sharing and mentoring. Known as 'the General' with her stern look over the top of her glasses, but it is her big smile, laughter and warm heart that will be remembered most! I am deeply saddened by Jeanne's most untimely death. We worked and laughed together for many years in the NICU at McMaster. We shared recipes so very often. She was tough and set a very high standard. She had little tolerance for nurses, doctors or anyone on the team that didn't meet her level of excellence. She will be missed. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends.
