Obituary of Jeanne Gordon

Passed away in Burlington ON, November 6, 2013. Survived by her sister Deborah Gordon and good friend, Jane Grosz of Waterloo; sister-in-law Anne Gordon of Kitchener; nephews Ron (Kris) and Randy Gordon. Fondly remembered by her aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nephews and niece. Predeceased by her parents Evelyn (nee Carey) and Fred Gordon, brother Gerald Gordon. Born and raised in Kitchener, attended Stratford School of Nursing, followed by a short work time at the former K-W Hospital. Jeanne went on to get her Bachelor of Science at Lakehead University. This lead to a nursing career in ICU at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Jeanne eventually returned home, settling in Hamilton, then Burlington. She finished off her lengthy career in NICU at McMaster University Hospital. She retired six years ago and enjoyed her reading, knitting, cooking and music Friends are invited to share their memories of Jeanne with her family during memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Reception to follow in the Fireside Room of the funeral home.
