Obituary of Sherryl DiCiccio

Sher passed away after a long battle with cancer at Grand River Hospital on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at the age of 58. Loving mother of Jess, Laura, Paul and his wife Randelle. She is also remembered by her former husband, Vic DiCiccio. Predeceased by her parents, Cyril and Catherine (Carruthers) Gambell. Sher was Administrative Officer of the School of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo where her staff leadership role was very important to her. Her passion for art and music was the inspiration for her involvement in the development of the Waterloo Community Arts Centre where she was Executive Director for 15 years. Sher was also a dedicated member of various arts committees and organizations in the wider community. Her love for her family, friends and community will always be remembered. According to Sher's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Sher's Life will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, November 30 at 4 p.m. A reception will immediately follow in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room.
