Saddened to read of Mark's passing. He and I started at Conestoga College in same year. For a while he was laid off but reappeared not too long after. We always chatted in the hall-ways throughout our tenure there. Enjoyed his sense of humour.

Dear Alexis and Judy We are shocked to hear about Mark, not being aware that he was not well. We only heard late yesterday or would have been sure to share the commemorative time with you. I have many fond memories of time spent with Mark... playing catch at your King Street backyard, summertime at Sand Lake, hockey on our rink at Jackson, pool in your basement at your Forest Hill home, fooling around at Custom Leather, squash on the courts at Northfield, Sunday morning "hookey" at Trinity, billiards in Toronto, and a brief visit to Wendakee. Upon seeing Mark after an absence, Mark never failed to ask about Noreen's well-being (and Ken before that). That was always special. We would always then exchange the latest news about my mom and dad and about Jack and Belva. I was always impressed at how very highly he regarded your mom and dad, probably moreso than other kids and their parents. You will both have many wonderful memories of Mark and your times with him. We hope that you will find some peace during this tough time. "To live is Christ, to die is gain" (Philippians 1:21). With Much Fondness Jane and Randy

I worked with Mark for many years at Conestoga College. He was such a great guy--funny, bright, very loyal and supportive. The photo you chose to display captured Mark perfectly. My condolences.

My dear friend Judy, I was sad to learn of Mark's death in an email from Jamie Hill. today. As childhood friends, I recall he was often our nemesis, a sometimes bratty younger brother who followed us and played pranks on us.I lost touch with all of you as our lives got busier and you moved West, but I did bump into Mark twice many years later at the Charcoal Steak House . I had a nice catchup and chat with him and Belva before heading into the dining room. Although it has been many many years since we have seen each other, I wanted to let you know how sorry I am at his passing and to offer you heartfelt comfort at this sad time. With great affection, Heather

Dear Mrs.Young,Judy and family. Please accept my sincere condolences on Mark's passing. Mark and I were very good boyhood friends, and although its been many years since we were in touch,I have thought of him often. One of my great regrets will be that we never had the the chance to reconnect in adulthood. My family's thoughts and prayers are with all of you today.

We are so lucky that we knew Mark throughout the years, and got to share so many special times with you both.
