Bob & Karen, Joe & Heather and all your children, no words encompass the sorrow I feel for you and your families during these past few months. We selfishly feel loss and hurt because it honours the memory of how special these people were in our own and other’s lives. I will always remember that glint in your Mom’s eyes and her mischievous smile while amazed at the stories she told of her latest shenanigans. Like your Father, they were always so good and generous to us Cosford children and loyal friends of my Dad. What a special couple they were, that complimented each other perfectly, and epitomized what we all strive for in our own lives. Lost but never forgotten – please accept our condolences from the whole Cosford family.

Bob, Joey and families: My heart goes out to you once again. Doris brightened my life for the last twenty years weekly. In the time I was privileged to spend with her, Dorris taught me many life lessons, by allowing me to hear stories of her life. I will miss the tinkle in her eye when she told me of her more "mischievous" adventures and always the giggle that came, with the end of each story. I treasure my diamond spider pin, and all the craft angels scattered through out my house. I will look at them and think of the lady who put so much love into everything she did and know I am a better person for having your Mom touch my life. When I think of your parents now, I see many photos flash through through my mind. They are dancing together, always both were smiling and brimming with love. May they dance like that in heaven, now and forever.

I was so sorry to read of Mrs. Doerner's passing. She was so good to my sister and I when we were children. We spent many happy afternoons swimming in their pool at the house in Waterloo and she always brought us a gift when she and Mr. Doerner went away on vacation. I particularly remember a straw purse from Barbados and a mumu from Hawaii. My parents and Mr. and Mrs. Doerner were such good friends; it's so sad to think that they're all gone now.
