Obituary of Doris Doerner

Surrounded by the love of her family, Doris passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 19, 2014. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years, Joseph T. Doerner, her parents Albert and Louisa Heer, her sister Lola Snider and brother Robert Heer. She leaves behind her sons Robert (Karen) Doerner and Joseph (Heather) Doerner. She was a very special "Hummee" to grandchildren Aaron, Amber and Mag Doerner. Doris lead an active life, devoted to her family and friends and volunteering with the handicapped. Her faith shone through her random acts of kindness and the love she showed to others. She taught her family how to love with true grace and dignity. At Doris' request, a private family service will be held.
