I am very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. My husband, Paul and I knew Bill for years going as far back as 1974. Bill was a very compassionate person. I know that our husbands are in heaven and are at peace. Paul passed away in Janurary. We both have hard times ahead but The Lord will see us threw. I was sorry that I couldn't come to the funeral as I was in the hospital. You have my deepest sympathy.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you Shirley, Tammy and Shaun at this moment of remembering. May you continue to find comfort and reasons to celebrate as the Good Spirit blesses. Our time with Bill began in the Soo, as we 'grew' up together in shared ministry and friendship. Recall many moments in the life of the congregation and also at Park-of-the Pines at numerous youth camps. That rich association continued during our time in the Guelph/Kitchener area. Our lives have been richly blessed due to Bill's friendship, ministry and support.

Bill and Arden (my husband who passed away 3 years ago) shared as co-directors of a number of Senior High Youth camps at Park of the Pines in Boyne City MI. So much fun, so many jokes played on them, how could I tell them all? But every camp ended with such a spiritual uplift. So many campers were blessed by Bill's ministry during those years in the mid 60's. Shirley, I loved getting to know you when you married that best friend of ours. Ginny

I first met Bill shortly before marrying in 1963. He was always a friend with a sense of humor. I think he and Jack enjoyed celebrating Ireland, but God always came first. We will miss him and our love and respect goes out to the entire William McCarty family.
