Obituary of Carol Booth
Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at Freeport Health Centre on Monday, October 6, 2014, at age 65 after enduring complications with cancer.
Beloved wife of David Booth for 43 years; loved mother of Jason Booth (Petra Kana) and Samantha Thompson (Craig); dear sister of Marjorie Prenger; loving grandmother of Mia, Colby, Spencer and Sadie. Carol will be fondly missed by her mother-in-law Muriel Booth, brother-in-law Richard Booth and nieces, Jill Prenger and Andrea and Christina Long.
Predeceased by her brother Bill Long, her parents, John and Dorothy Long and her father-in-law John Booth.
Carol was a Registered Nurse for 44 years practicing at both Grand River Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital followed by many years working with the wonderful staff at the office of Dr. T Wallace, Oral Surgeon. Carol was a dedicated health professional, a travel enthusiast and animal and fitness lover who cherished her family and time spent with her grandchildren. Carol will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Visitation to celebrate Carol's life will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Thursday, October 16, from 7-9 p.m.
