Dear Arnie & Family, So sorry to hear about Barb's passing. Even though years have gone by since I curled with Barb I still cherish the wonderful games we played together. Truly a wonderful lady, curler, grandmother, wife, friend and so much more. May God give you the strength to take one day at a time. Dear Arnie, Kirby, Dianne, Pam, Patrice and Family; We were so sorry to hear about Barb's passing. Please accept our deepest sympathies and condolences as we know how much she meant to so many people especially to her beloved husband and life long partner Arnie, her children and her grandchildren. She was always so proud of her family and their accomplishments. One could see a special sparkle in her eyes when she talked about her family. Barb was very open about sharing her thoughts and the she pride she held when we were together. Barbara supported her family and friends in so many different ways. From working many long hours, selecting carpet patterns, lamps, window dressings, etc; during the many hotel renovation projects she championed to traveling with Arnie to many meetings, conventions and other business functions and probably listening to more conversations about Best Western politics then anyone should have to endear in one's life time. Throughout my relationship with Barb, she treated me like one of her children; which means she scolded me when I disappointed her or needed to be but provided hugs when I needed them. Molly and I are so sorry we could not be here with the Brown family and Barb's many friends to say good bye to such a wonderful person. Please know that our prayers and thoughts are with her and her family. We know that our Lord Jesus Christ has the pearly gates wide open waiting for her to arrive. We also believe that we will see Barb again in the future when we arrive at the BW Heavenly Inn & Resort in our Creator's Kingdom when he calls upon us to check in. There are no words that can be expressed to take away the pain we, as family and friends, are feeling at this moment but what we do have are the many cherish memories of all the great times, smiles and laughs we shared with Barb over the years. Dearest Arnie and Kirby and all the Brown family, A beautiful lady has moved on to her next life. One who was deeply loved by her husband and children. Over the past 20 years we have enjoyed a laugh or two, some at Arnie'e expense especially if I was mistaken as Arnie's wife as I was the other Barbara. As there are many rooms in God's kingdom, I am sure she will be busy sewing drapes and curtains for those windows too.
