Obituary of Doreen Gross

Passed away on August 27, 2015 surrounded by the love of her family at Innisfree House, Kitchener at the age of 81 years. Cherished wife of the late Henry Gross for 56 years. Beloved mother of Rob (Susan), Laurie Hamacher (Roger), Gail Gross (Tom Stankiewicz) and Lesley Bell (Chris). Loving grandmother of Spencer (Sarah), Tyler (Annaliese), Ryan, Shawn (Casie), Jeremy, Gabrielle, Brooke and Delaney. Loving great-grandmother of Owen and Annabelle. Dear sister of Jim Helm (Jeany) and Patricia Ainlay (Ken). Predeceased by her parents Walter and Vera Helm. Also remembered by her sister-in-law Laura Deppisch. Doreen was an avid gardener and knitter and she enjoyed church outreach. Honouring Doreen's personal wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to celebrate Doreen's life and faith will be held at St. Agnes R.C. Church, 75 Bluevale Street North, Waterloo on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Aleksander Mazur, S.A.C. officiating.
